A nice ride in the canyon is halted when Dr. West's horse, Firebird, tumbles down a steep ravine. The Critter Gitters are at the center of this very dangerous and urgent rescue mission that hits close to home when they discover just how injured Firebird really is. It's a real race against time, as the horse is in desperate need of water and immediate medical attention to save an injured eye. In this gripping tale, the Critter Gitters must resort to basic survival techniques in order to help with this rescue. Can they get the horse out of the ravine? Will the Equine Evac Rescue helicopter be able to find their remote location from the air? Even if it does, can it get down far enough into the canyon to airlift the horse out.. without putting them in grave danger?
