Mrs. Heckerman, whose yard has been invaded by hundred’s
of turtles, calls upon the Critter Gitters to help solve
her dilemma. To their surprise, the Critter Gitters find
turtles romping freely throughout the neighborhood. When
a giant, 40 lb. turtle lumbers into their kitchen, Mr. Heckerman
gulps and lodges an apple core in his throat. Annie springs
to action, using the Heimlich maneuver, she saves him from
choking. Unfortunately, moments later, the well-intentioned
Mr. Belcher trips, tumbling into the swimming pool with
a box full of desert turtles. Once again, all of the Critter
Gitters spring into action, diving and swimming heroically
underwater in a breath-taking finale, rescuing the drowning
turtles.
